This website gives helpful information on the difference between an HSA and an FSA: HSA vs FSA
Our FSA program is through Paychex . Open Enrollment begins in the fall of each year and you manage your account through Paychex Flex. You will receive an email each year reminding you of Open Enrollment. All changes to the FSA will be made through Paychex Flex.
To be eligible for an HSA, you must have one of the High Deductible Health Plan options. If you are unsure if you have a qualifying account, please reach out to Andy McDermott at Andy.McDermott@bbrown.com . You will then need to open an HSA bank account. We have an option through Bank of America email HR or you can open any HSA account. Then send the bank account information and the amount you want to contribute to HR. You can change your contribution as necessary by emailing HR.

All full-time employees are covered by Banyan for short- and long-term disability. There is an elimination period of 15 days, so if you are going to be out for more than that time for a medical issue, please reach out to your manager, copying Karin Dunne, to get the form and instructions. These are filled out by you, HR, and your physician, then submitted to Mutual of Omaha for payment.
-
Employees who have given birth will receive 2 weeks of paid parental leave. This is in conjunction with Short Term Disability, so employees can still apply even if taking the two weeks.
Employees who have adopted a child or whose spouse/committed partner has given birth will receive 1 week of paid leave.
There are eligibility requirements such as time worked and employed, so please reach out to your regional and/or HR for the full policy and how to apply.
